The 'Candy Bomber' visits the RAF Museum

After being honoured at the 2019 RAF Museum American Foundation 'Spirit of the Battle of Britain' Banquet in Washington D.C. in October, Colonel Gail Halvorsen – known as the 'Candy Bomber' for his exploits in dropping chocolate to children during the Berlin Airlift – visited the RAF Museum at Hendon.
